Socrates the Turkey Vulture 01

Socrates the Turkey-Vulture, founding bird of WILD Ontario, a group based in the University of Guelph, that looks after a group of resident wild birds that are not releasable back into the wild. They use these fine feathered characters to educate the public about Wildlife, Conservation and Stewardship. Learn more about them at [link]

Socrates here was the first bird taken in by the group after he was hit by a car and had to have a wing amputated.
